Reviews
Everything we had at LittleMad was amazing. Food and drinks were all uniquely delicious. The food was beautifully plated, and coursed perfectly. Alex took great care of us and had spot on recommendations. The Feast of the Seven Fishes set menu on Xmas Eve was amazing, my favorite was the roasted scallop with wood ear mushrooms and seafood froth.
It was our first time visiting Little Mad, and we had "The Feast of the Seven Fishes". It was amazing! All the dishes were so beautifully presented and tasty! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be back to try the regular menu.
What a great way to celebrate any occasion with a great tasting menu. You feel well taken care of by multiple servers who clearly explain each dish and answer all your questions. Also casual conversations with them made the experience feel much more comfortable. The food itself was amazing, we opted for a more seafood heavy selection of the options all of which had some very unique tastes. The value was quite well priced compared to many NYC tasting menus and highly recommend to also have one of their delicious cocktails while there! Cheers!
We ordered 8 different dishes. It is always nice to have a choices in tasting menu. All of them were extremely creative. Some of them were well executed but did not wow us, like duck dish; duck was perfectly cooked but it was not too special. All other dishes were exceptional, octopus dish is highlight of the night. One small nit pick, shaved ice was not to interesting, pick cheesecake instead!
What a delightful experience. Delicious food, presented delicately and precisely for each dish. A very thoughtful progression. Definitely opt for the wine pairing. We also started with amazingly balanced cocktails.
Had their Christmas seafood dinner for $130.
Overall good and fun but I don’t think it was worth $130. Nothing wow-ing and seeing the crabs moving in a bowl on the table while eating one was a little creepy.
Wow! Definitely my top 3 restaurant in the city and I was surprised by how easy it was to make a Resy. The first drink, the Goguma Fashioned, blew my mind. Might be the best cocktail I’ve had all year. Went with a group of 3 and you will definitely get full from the tasting menu and the free add-ons from the chef. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the ambiance, noise-level, and location. Would highly recommend. The Wagyu, caviar, and truffles dish was really good but would have liked a little bit more salt on it. The espresso martini with truffle shavings was ok. Not my favorite; however, it was unique. The scallop dish was superb!
Great dining. Spent my birthday here last night, and the staff at Little Mad made it truly special. Wonderful service at the level expected of this caliber of restaurant, without error. Food was superb. The chef's snacks were an exceptional demonstration of the culinary talent, and sticking point for the "theme" of the establishment. Other standouts include the beef tartare (I'm oft partial to this. Little Mad's offering ranks above Bayberry and below Manhatta in my book), the mad noodles, and the prime galbi. The duck breast was good, but the Bao was underwhelming, with a somewhat milquetoast palette of flavor. The mad toast was interesting, but you've 'gilded the lily' here a bit with how the wagyu has been dressed. Lobster is lobster; those who know me know it never impresses me. Atmosphere was perfect. Clean, quiet, and a good music selection in the background at a low volume. Coat check is a nice addition. All in all, a great night.
